LImenumen is an abstract from In tre tempi, a project that begun three years ago in Topolò that tries to detect the substrate of the living zone of the village through sound and video, from the line, nearer to the last houses, to the Koderiana, the creek at the bottom of the valley.
I collected the fireflies that live the surroundings between the last houses and the wood and lied them on a glass that’s the bottom of a box that I made for this moment. This machine allowed me to record their presence through their light traces. The sounds used for the editing of limenlumen come from the Topolò movie place, they’re recorded in real time during the shooting of the video of the fireflies and mixed in the end.
